Basic Invite is Boujee on a Budget

Check out Cheap Save the Dates!

When my husband and I got married, I knew nothing about wedding invitations, save the dates, stationary, or even who to send them to. I didn’t know ANYTHING.

I went to the craft store and got some inexpensive (but also more expensive than they should have been) DIY wedding invitations that I had to print out on my computer and I am fairly certain it was one of the first really bad fights I had with my almost-husband. Between trying to figure out how to configure the printer, gluing tiny birds and string onto cheap card stock that had ink smudges from our badly printed bird design on them, to the fact that the date was completely off-center, we realized that we were just a hot mess when it came to trying to do this wedding stuff ourselves.

That’s why I am so excited that Basic Invite exists! They have a one-stop-shop for everything wedding including:

If I could go back in time, I would definitely ALWAYS marry my husband. If we could get married every day, that would be amazing! But I would definitely choose a much less expensive, and also crazy easy option for my wedding invites. Not to mention, the amount of options to choose from fits every style. You can totally be Palm Springs bohemian meets woodsy Seattle crafter meets black tie glam NYC wedding, if you want! For reals tho, save yourself the fight with your significant other for more important things, like putting together IKEA furniture or which version of Joe Goldberg is the creepiest.
